New Lifechat Starter on Possessions

Now that I’m vaccinated and it’s safer to be a bit more mobile, I’m returning once more to a pseudo-nomadic lifestyle, where I’ll travel places to stay a few months before moving on. In the last year, I stayed put and now find myself in possession of items I never thought I’d have, like a portrait of a family member long since dead with a legendary reputation. Thankfully, my minimalism held strong but I still find myself wrestling with the items around me, fascinated by how attached I am to some and how easy others were to give away. I love this process because I learn so much about what I truly value and that’s why it felt timely to share a Lifechat Starter on Possessions. I hope it helps you examine what’s around you, both in a way that increases your appreciation and that makes you less attached all at once.
